This past weekend was my bachelorette party.
Saturday we rode in a car for 5 hours, give or take, to arrive in Chicago. We then proceeded to eat a ridiculously expensive diner meal. I mean, they charged me 2.50 for some extra ranch. After that we went to this really awesome place, I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, Dave and Busters? I could see myself spending 100’s of dollars at a place like that every month. If you don’t know what it is for real, google it. You will wish you’d been there too.
We then headed back to my sisters apartment ( ya, she lives in Chicago, be jealous of her) to get ready for an evening of fun shenanigans. I will now spare you the details of the evening because I want you to think they are scandalous.
Sunday morning, my first Mothers day, was spent driving in a cramped car with 4 of my friends, trying not to vomit. So that was a pretty good time. It was then made even better because we got stuck in traffic in the middle of the 5 hour drive, which added another hour to our travels. Whatever, it was worth it.
Monday, Jon stayed home from work to celebrate Mothers day and to recover from the weekend. I may have abused my “but it’s my mothers dayyyyy” privileges. I’m worried for fathers day.
